In January 2026, TRAIL welcomed its first Student Council. It is not symbolic. It gives students real practice in leadership, responsibility and collaboration with their peers and our staff.

Their first event, The Hearth, brought the school together with food, sports and science activities. They named it after the hearth that gathers a family at home, and they learned to set objectives, request quotes, build a budget and market the event. In April they hosted TRAIL's first Easter event, with a scavenger hunt for Grades 3 to 12 and crafts, games and an egg hunt for younger students. As the Student Council put it, what they enjoyed most was seeing the entire school come together.

Students from Grades 10 and 11 also represented TRAIL at the NHS-PAIS Leadership Conference, where they reflected on how leadership adapts to each situation and how to take risks and stay authentic.

This fall, StuCoFest offered a movie night, video game tournaments and dancing, and raised funds for our robotics team.

En enero de 2026, TRAIL dio la bienvenida a su primer Consejo Estudiantil. No es simbólico. Ofrece a los estudiantes práctica real de liderazgo, responsabilidad y colaboración con sus compañeros y con nuestro personal.

Su primer evento, The Hearth, reunió a la escuela con comida y actividades deportivas y científicas. Lo nombraron así por el hogar que reúne a la familia, y aprendieron a fijar objetivos, pedir cotizaciones, armar un presupuesto y promocionar el evento. En abril organizaron el primer evento de Pascua de TRAIL, con una búsqueda del tesoro para 3.º a 12.º grado y manualidades, juegos y una búsqueda de huevos para los más pequeños. Como dijo el Consejo Estudiantil, lo que más disfrutaron fue ver a toda la escuela unida.

Estudiantes de 10.º y 11.º grado también representaron a TRAIL en la Conferencia de Liderazgo NHS-PAIS, donde reflexionaron sobre cómo el liderazgo se adapta a cada situación y cómo arriesgarse sin dejar de ser auténticos.

Este otoño, el StuCoFest ofreció noche de película, torneos de videojuegos y baile, y recaudó fondos para nuestro equipo de robótica.
