Life in Panamá Pacífico

TRAIL sits inside Panamá Pacífico, a planned community just west of the Panama Canal. For many of our families, school is a short walk, bike or scooter ride from home.

What our location makes possible

A school inside the neighborhood changes the shape of a family's day: a short trip to school, and classmates who live nearby.

01

Walk, bike or scooter to school

Many TRAIL families walk, bike or scooter to school from River Valley, Nativa and Explora. Greenways and bike paths connect Panamá Pacífico's neighborhoods, parks and schools.

02

After school, close to home

Our after-school programs are open to the whole community and serve 216 students from across Panamá Pacífico. Robotics, sports, music and the arts happen a few minutes from home.

03

Room to grow

Panamá Pacífico keeps 1,400 hectares of natural space. Our own 2.7-hectare campus has a gymnasium and an athletics track, with green hills in view.

Part of a 15-minute community

Panamá Pacífico was planned as a 15-minute community, where homes, schools, shops and parks sit a short trip apart on foot, by bike or by scooter. TRAIL is part of that plan, with every grade from age 2 to Grade 12 on one campus, so brothers and sisters share one school and one drop-off.

Moving to Panamá Pacífico?

Families join TRAIL from around the world, and more than 25 nationalities share our classrooms. Here is how we help a new family start well.

01

Apply from abroad

Call or message us on WhatsApp, apply online and send records by email. We guide you through the documents families need when moving from abroad.

02

Learn in English from day one

Every subject except language classes is taught in English. Students who are still learning English get support at four levels while they learn alongside their classmates.

03

Keep Spanish growing

Spanish is part of the program from Early Childhood to Grade 12, and our traditions celebrate the country our students call home.

04

Two diplomas at graduation

A U.S. college-preparatory program, and every graduate earns a U.S. high school diploma and the Panamanian MEDUCA diploma.
