College-prep courses taught in English, an advisor who follows every student, and two diplomas at graduation: a Cognia-accredited U.S. high school diploma and the Panamanian diploma from MEDUCA.

Every TRAIL graduate earns both diplomas. Students complete a U.S. college-prep program accredited by Cognia along with the MEDUCA requirements, so doors stay open in Panama and abroad.
Every course is taught in English except Spanish and Cívica. Panamanian history, geography and ethics are taught in English too, so students build academic English in every subject.
ALEKS adapts math practice to each student, and MAP Growth assessments track progress through the year, so teachers see where each student needs to grow.
The day starts with Morning Community, and every student has an advisor who follows their progress and helps them manage their own learning.
The Renaissance Method gives every class the same shape. What changes with age is who holds the conversation.
Students read closely, write often and defend their ideas with evidence. Each unit includes a Socratic seminar, where students question each other's reasoning while the teacher listens and coaches.
Discussion moves toward the Harkness model made famous by Phillips Exeter Academy: students prepare, lead and build on each other's ideas, and the teacher coaches. In math and science, students present and debate their solutions.
Students do their own thinking. Generative AI is not used for schoolwork through Grade 10. In Grades 11 and 12, it is used only under teacher supervision, in tasks the teacher designs.
