In April 2026, TRAIL students competed in Miami with PizzaByte, an independent Panamanian FIRST Robotics Competition team that TRAIL sponsors. The team spent months preparing, often giving up weekends and even meeting over the holiday break. They built two robots: one for testing and one for competition.

At the start of the event, our students stepped in to help another team fix their robot. That spirit of collaboration carried through the competition, and the team finished 16th out of 47. We are proud of the result, and even prouder of the generous young people behind it.

Now TRAIL's own school team, Pineapple Power, is preparing for a championship in Cesenatico, Italy, in March 2027. Our Student Council's StuCoFest helped raise funds for the journey.
