At TRAIL, every child deserves an education that fits who they are. That belief is why we built the Torchlight Learning Support Program into the core of our school — not as a separate offering, but as a fundamental part of how we teach.
Tier 1 — Universal Support: Every TRAIL classroom incorporates differentiated instruction. Teachers are trained to recognize and respond to different learning styles within every lesson.
Tier 2 — Targeted Intervention: Students who need additional support receive small-group sessions focused on specific skills — literacy, numeracy, or language acquisition — facilitated by our ILC specialists.
Tier 3 — Intensive Support: For students with identified learning differences, our ILC team develops individualized plans with one-on-one sessions, family communication, and regular progress monitoring.
