High School Application Process

Thank you for your interest in TRAIL. If you are interested in submitting an application for the 2022-23 academic year, we encourage you to call our office to learn more about the process. Rolling applications are accepted based on availability.

The application for the academic year 2023-24 will be available on December 1, 2022.

Submit Online Application

Please create an account and apply through RenWeb, our admissions database. To submit a 2022-23 application for grades 9-12, please contact us first to confirm the availability in the grade your child is entering.  If there is space, the Admissions office will then provide you with a bypass code, which is needed to submit an application.

Attend a Virtual Open House

Due to COVID-19 health precautions, all of our fall admissions events will be held virtually. We will be hosting a number of events this season so that you can get to know our community, faculty and curriculum.

We will also be sharing videos and stories throughout the season so that you can learn more about our arts, innovation, athletics and other programs that we offer.

Schedule a Virtual Family Conversation and Student Interview

Every applicant for high school is required to schedule a student interview and an informal family conversation with a high school  admissions director. These appointments will take place over GoogleMeets. This is an opportunity for students and parents to ask questions and learn more about TRAIL's curriculum and programs.

Additionally, applicants interested in our learning support program with the Inclusive Learning Center, ILC, will be required to schedule a virtual assessment with an ILC faculty member.

Submit Official Transcript and Confidential Teacher Recommendations

The transcript release form and teacher recommendation forms should be submitted to the applicant’s present school. The teacher recommendation forms must come from both the student's math and English/Native tongue teachers and should be completed after December 1st to ensure an accurate assessment of the student’s performance. If the transcript and teacher recommendation forms are not completed in English, an official translation must also be sent. The forms can be downloaded from this page.

Please note: Applicant family is responsible for confirming application is complete. The Admissions Office will not review incomplete applications.
