The application for each academic year will be available in December.
Please create an account and apply through RenWeb, our admissions database. To submit a 2022-23 application for grades please contact us first to confirm the availability in the grade your child is entering. If there is space, the Admissions office will then provide you with a bypass code, which is needed to submit an application.
Every applicant for elementary school is required to schedule a student interview and an informal family conversation with a high school admissions director. This is an opportunity for students and parents to ask questions and learn more about TRAIL's curriculum and programs. Finally they will sit down with the head of the elementary school department to learn a bit more about what to expect when becoming aTrailblazer.
Additionally, applicants interested in using our Torchlight learning support program with the Inclusive Learning Center, ILC, will be required to schedule an assessment with an ILC faculty member.
All grade 1 applicants must submit the confidential school report. This report is to be given to your child’s current school and must be submitted directly from their school to ours. The form can be downloaded from this page. If your child is not currently enrolled in a Kindergarten program, please contact our Admissions office to discuss alternative options.
All grade 2-5 applicants must have their current school submit official transcripts from the past two years. The transcript release form found below is to be given to your child’s current school and the transcripts must be submitted directly from their school to ours. Additionally, your child’s teacher should complete the confidential recommendation form (see form below). If the transcript and Teacher Recommendation Form are not completed in English, an official translation must also be provided.
Please note: Applicant family is responsible for confirming application is complete. The Admissions Office will not review incomplete applications.
