Mr. Jorge Vinda, a Panamanian with over a decade's experience in education and scientific research, is a proud alumnus of the University of Arkansas, specializing in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. Before his full-time teaching career, Jorge was affiliated with prestigious institutions like the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and INDICASAT. With five years dedicated to developing and spearheading science labs for students spanning 6th-12th grades, he also excels in teaching Environmental Sciences. Beyond the classroom, Jorge is a gardening aficionado, a nature enthusiast, a mushroom cultivator, and a vinyl collector. He treasures moments spent with friends, recounting amusing tales. Guided by the maxim, “Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it, we go nowhere,” Jorge embarks on another enlightening year at TRAIL.
